We have over 22,000 square feet of hunting, fishing, shooting,
reloading supplies, indoor pistol range, calls, shells, guns,

Fishing has started to pick up as we getting longer warmer days.
Bream fishing will improve this month as the water warms. For
bass, try the back of the coves in shallower water with spinnerbaits,
plastic worms, or topwater lures. The new pad beds should be excellent.
Crappies should be moving shallower and can be caught with mini
grubs and minnow over brush. Catfish are really biting on all
our rivers and lakes, try minnows, stink bait or worms. They have
a large selection of the newest and classic fishing tackle and

on Lakes Wylie and Wateree. He guides for all species of catfish.
On Lake Wylie, Catfish ON! Guide Service reports-the spring fishing
is excellent. LOTS of channel cats taken daily. Fish are average
size 4-6 pounds but eager to bite. April thru the end of May is
an excellent time for super channel catfish action on Lake Wylie.

A few big turkeys were taken in April by our customers reports
JAMIE Ks OUTDOOR WORLD (803-872-7020). The
shop is located at 2606 Catawba River Road, thats Hwy 21
South in Fort Lawn. The water in the local lakes and rivers has
warmed up and most of the bass, crappie and bream are being caught
in the shallows. He hears plenty of catfish are being caught on
the Santee Cooper Lakes. They are carrying a full line of livestock
feed, and plenty of Dog Food by Tops and Caliber. Dont forget
they have everything available for you hunters and fishermen with
a good supply of the latest tackle now in stock. Also, they are
carrying guns, pistols, live bait, tackle, hunting items, licenses,
blue back herring, gizzard and thread fin shad are also available
for you catfish and striper fishermen. Be sure to take a Kid fishing
or hunting!
Our customers really started catching some nice crappie and hopefully
this will continue on in the month of May reports
PENDLETONS SPORTING GOODS (803-631-5410) located
on Hwy 49 at Five Points in Clover. A lot of people will be switching
over to nighttime fishing for crappie, using minnows under lights.
The bass should start moving out on the main points and hitting
worms and crankbaits. May is a great time to catch bream in the
local ponds using worms and crickets. Stop by here for the latest

Melissa of TRAILS END TAXIDERMY (803-547-5646) tells us
she is catching up on the deer heads that were brought in, and
already seeing some big bass and crappie being brought in. She
has also had some nice spring turkeys brought by the shop for
mounting. They are located just behind the Indian Land School
(just follow the signs). Stop by and look over some of her work
or give her a call for information. Fishing is good in the rivers
and lakes here in this area on the warmer days and there are plenty
of good stringers of crappie and bass coming in. Good luck this

TWELVE OAKS PRESERVE has immediate booking for the Opening
Day Dove Shoot on 30 August and 1 September 2008. Dove Memberships
for the 2008 season is $1500.00 and one day passes including lunch
are 150.00. Hunting is limited to 100 hunters. Members get first
priority. We will have plenty of Quail for our hunters. Several
different varieties of quail will be available. Kennels: 12 Kennels
with runs and we also offer Bird Dog training, year around boarding
and exercise. Bring your own dog or use our dogs. Our new lodge
will hold 8 hunters and our new building will hold 20 hunters.

Our customers had a great time during turkey season in April reports
Darren at NICHOLS STORE (803-328-9792) located at 1980
Mt Holly Road, Exit 73 off I-77 here in Rock Hill. The water is
warming up and the fish are in spawning mode at this time. Plenty
of good crappies are being caught on minnows and jigs in shallow
water. Bass should be hitting topwater plugs, floating worms and
senkos in the backs of the creeks around structure. The
bream fishing should be great around the full moon (May 19th)
using crickets and worms in the shallows. Come by, get stocked
up, take a kid fishing and come back and do some bragging. We
also offer processing and taxidermy pick-up for your convenience.
