July 09
We now sell Lancer Crappie
fishing boats call (336-622-0092) for information. MONK
stated that the hot weather and warm water on Lake Wateree
has made fishing hard to predict. Some people are crappie fishing
at night under lanterns around the bridges. In the mouth of Cedar
Creek some catfish are being caught using cut shad on the bottom.
The bream fishing should be excellent around the full moon of
July in the shallows. Monk carries all of your favorite jigs,
trailers, grubs, poles and crappies reel, plus many other crappie
fishing items. You can order from his web site www.MONKSCRAPPIE.com

CATFISH ON! GUIDE
SERVICE (803-328-9587)
and Capt Rodger Taylor is a USCG Licensed Fishing Guide who guides
for Catfish on Lakes Wateree and Wylie. CATFISH ON! Capt Rodger
reports: that the bite for big catfish is off right now, probably
related to the spawn. However, plenty of small eating size fish
in the 1.5 to 5 pound range are available. Threadfin shad are
numerous and massive schools can be seen near shore within easy
netting range; these make a great cut bait. The winner of a recent
catfish tournament reportedly caught his fish by investing in
a decent aerator and fishing live threadfin shad to catch blues,
flatheads, and channel cats. Come join Catfish ON! Guide Service
on my custom 20 foot Voyager pontoon specially rigged to bring
catfish to the boat. Give Capt Rodger a call or contact his website
at www.catfishon.com.
At R&G SPORTING
