water and later drifting will become more popular in deeper water.

having the most luck fishing in 20-25 feet of water with bait
schools on the sides of drops. Some fish are being caught in deeper
water 40 or more feet down. At night catfish will come shallower
to feed, particularly between dusk and 10:00 p.m. Cut bait continues

is still great using cut bait or live bait. Bream are doing good
biting on crickets and worms. Bass are being caught fishing around
the deepwater trees during the day and on top water early in the

ice, gas, groceries, fishing and hunting licenses, drinks, boating

clubs in South Carolina. Partridge Creek is a family oriented

Catfish are biting live bait and worms in 10 to 20 feet of water
during the day. Night fishing seems to bring out the real big
cats in 3 to 10 feet. Try fishing crickets and worms around the
deeper trees for bream.

and fish. He has won several awards for deer heads from National
and State Taxidermy competitions. He is a member of the South
Carolina and National Taxidermy Association. Larry says the fishing
has slowed, but should improve with some cooler weather. Bass
will be in shallow water around trees and pad beds, try plastic
worms, spinner baits, and topwater plugs early and late in the
day. Lots of people thoughts are turning to Deer hunting (opened
August 15 in some of the local counties) and Dove season (4th
September).
