ATTENTION BOATERS!! THE 29th ANNUAL CHARLESTON BOAT SHOW will be held Jan. 23-25 at the Charleston Convention Center Complex. This show will be packed with all types of new boats and outboards. There will be live music, a fishing clinic, prizes, and more for the whole family.
HADDRELL'S POINT TACKLE & SUPPLY reports if the water does not get to cold then there should continue to be good catches of trout on artificials like grubs in the electric chicken, smoke or green colors, DOA shrimp and mirro-lures. The cold water should bunch up the redfish and they can be caught on low tide in the creeks off the Wando and Cooper Rivers. Offshore bottom fishing is excellent this time of the year; weather permitting, for snapper, grouper, and black fish. Hunters need to check out the innovative replacement burlap and all their duck hunting supplies.
